Timothy R Stoesz
Attorney in Hamilton County
As a 1983 Graduate of Anderson (College) University and a 1987 graduate of Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis, Tim has been practicing law for over 31 years. In college, he spent two summers in Washington, DC as a congressional intern and one term interning in the Indiana Senate. As a young attorney, he had the privilege of working on Indiana Pacer player contracts and other items for Market Square Arena. He spent time in Las Vegas as the lead PPV-TV attorney for the Buster Douglas-Evander Holyfield fight and in Los Angeles for a Tommy Hearns title fight. Missing home, Tim returned back home to Indiana to be president of one minor league sports franchise and consult on multiple other sports projects here in Indiana and across the United States.
Eventually settling his practice in Westfield over 20 years ago, Tim takes great pride in fighting for children. He was the attorney for one of the most significant adoption cases in US legal history. The case lasted 10 years and Tim tried the case in Indiana and New Jersey. Eventually, Tim's interests won and the children now live happily in Indiana. Since then, Tim enjoys taking on big fights. Never one to shy away from a challenge, Tim has sued school districts on behalf of children, and he has even taken on local governments. Tim now cares for his 87- and 86-year-old parents and loves living in Hamilton County, playing golf, and playing with his dog Izzy.
Timothy R Stoesz is a co-founder of Stoesz & Stoesz, LLC and represents various legal matters, ranging from bankruptcy to family law.
